The Ao Baptist Church Association (ABAM) Sunday School Teachers’ Conference concluded at Impur on September 27 after a three-day gathering focused on strengthening Christian education and equipping Sunday School teachers for their ministry.
Held from September 25 to 27 under the theme “Taküm Sempet Arangshiba” (Developing Life Skills), based on Philippians 1:9, the conference brought together 933 delegates representing 123 churches under ABAM.
The programme featured worship, fellowship and interactive sessions on Christian education, with speakers including ABAM Executive Secretary Rev. Temsü Jamir, Dr. Lipoknenla Ozüküm of Eastern Theological College, Rev. Dr. Moanungsang, Secretary, Education & Literature, ABAM, and Mrs. Narosenla, Director, Christian Education Ministry, MTBA.
Interactive sessions were facilitated by R. Asenla Jamir, Director, Christian Education Ministry, DABA; Dr. Moalila, Assistant Professor, Clark Theological College, Aolijen; and Dr. Lipoknenla Ozüküm. Ms. Bideno Kikon, Secretary, Christian Education, NBCC, also participated in the conference.
The gathering provided teachers an opportunity to strengthen their understanding of Christian education, exchange experiences and renew their commitment to nurturing children and young people in the Christian faith. Participants returned to their respective churches with renewed enthusiasm for Sunday School ministry.
