Mokokchung, 2 September (MTNews): The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) on Friday flagged the issue of poor telecom service in Mokokchung. In a representation, AKM has asked the Jio Point Manager, Mokokchung for “immediate restoration of Jio telecom services in and around Mokokchung.”
In a memorandum, the AKM said that Jio Telecom Services in Mokokchung District has been consistently poor, with daily network fluctuations over the past few months. “The hardships faced by the public due to the poor services are pronounced, with little to no connectivity at times,” it said.
Saying that poor connectivity is a significant hindrance to the entire community, the AKM urged the Jio Telecom Services providers in Mokokchung to “genuinely improve the internet and connectivity services within one week.”
“Otherwise, we will be compelled to initiate our own course of action as we see fit,” AKM cautioned.
