In a first for Nagaland, Hokato Hotozhe Sema has won a Bronze Medal in the Shotput F-56/57 category at the ongoing Asian Para Games 2023 held in Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China. The Asian Para Games are taking place from October 22 to 28.
Following this achievement, Prime Minister Modi congratulated Hokato for winning the Bronze medal by posting on social media platform, X. “Congratulations to Hotozhe Dena Hokato on the remarkable Bronze Medal in the Shotput F-56/57 category. India is proud of his incredible spirit and strength. May his journey ahead be adorned with more glorious victories,” PM tweeted.
Nagaland Chief Minister Rio also extended his congratulations to Hokato for his outstanding performance and for securing the Bronze Medal. ‘A proud moment for India and a historic moment for Nagaland. Thank you for making us proud. I hope you bring more laurels to the country,’ the CM tweeted.
