Following the complains raised by the Chungtia Students’ Union (CSU) and Chungtia Village Council (CVC), the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare has selected M/s North East Engineers to conduct quality and strength tests for the ongoing construction of the 50-bedded Integrated AYUSH Hospital at Sabangya, Mokokchung.
In a communication addressed to the Principal Director, Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Executive Engineer of the Medical Engineering Division, Er. Limadangit Walling, informed that the firm has been found to have the necessary credentials to carry out the task.
The letter stated that the firm has agreed to deploy the required personnel and will conduct the tests at the project site on September 11, 2025.
The selection of the firm follows the directive issued by the Directorate under reference number DHFW No-PD/Misc/2025-26/1917-20, dated September 4, 2025, which instructed arrangements to be made for the testing process.
According to the communication, the testing is being carried out to ensure the quality of the concrete structure of the AYUSH hospital building, which is currently under construction at Sabangya.
