Longsa, January 18 (MTNews): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of 25 Mongoya Mandal on Wednesday inaugurated its ‘Longsa Unit Bhavan’ in Longsa village, Mokokchung. The Unit Bhavan was inaugurated with the president of BJP 25 Mongoya, Nungsangwati hoisting the party flag.
Addressing party workers after hoisting the flag, the Mandal president expressed appreciation to the district level party workers for their support in making it possible to open the BJP Longsa Unit Bhavan. He also exhorted his party workers to work towards further strengthening the party in unity and cooperation.
BJP Mokokchung District president Imolemba, who also spoke at the function, encouraged the people to join the ‘ruling party’ and grasp the opportunity to work for the welfare of the people and development of the land in truth and through hard work.
Others who also spoke at the function included Bendangtoshi, Mandal Incharge; Ojenlepzük, District Executive Convenor; Taliwati, President 26 Mandal; Tiayanger, Kissan President Mokokchung BJP andLongsa Village Council. Longsa Unit of BJP Mongoya Mandal also spoke at the function.
The function began with an invocation prayer by Temsuyanger, Secretary, Longsa Baptist Church, and was concluded with a mass benediction prayer.
