Mokokchung, February 24 (MTNews): The Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland will be visiting Mokokchung and Wokha districts in February. In Mokokchung, the CEO will hold a meeting convened by Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer.
As per the tour plan of the CEO, he will land in Mokokchung at 9:00 AM and hold meetings with stakeholders including the district administration, police, political parties and tribal bodies. He will then depart for Wokha at 11:00 AM where he will also hold similar meetings with stakeholders.
The CEO’s visit is significant here because Mokokchung and Wokha are the two districts from where most election-related violence has been reported so far.
