Col (Retd.) Veswusayi Lohe, Kilonser and Care-taker of Chakhesang Region within the GPRN/NSCN (Unification), expressed heartfelt gratitude to the President of GPRN and NSCN Chairman, Gen (Retd.) MB Neokpao Konyak, along with various other authorities, for their support to Ato Kilonser Alezo Venuh.
Highlighting the “strong sense” of Naga nationalism among the Chakhesang people, Col Lohe emphasized the tradition of upholding this ethos, particularly within the Chakhesang National Workers of the GPRN/NSCN (Unification). He acknowledged the blessing of having educated, experienced, and seasoned national leaders at the forefront of the Naga political movement.
The recognition follows an assembly at the Naga Unification Camp, Khehoyi, on April 21, 2024. During this assembly, the National Tatar Hoho unanimously adopted a resolution for leadership change, electing Alezo Venuh as the new Ato Kilonser/General Secretary of GPRN/NSCN (Unification). Venuh is also an envoy to the collective leadership and coordinator of the WC/NNPGs.
