The 2nd edition of the Chakhesang Veteran Badminton Tournament-cum-selection for the Inter-District Nagaland Veteran Badminton Tournament 2025 was held today at the Multi-Purpose Stadium, NLA Kohima.
A total of 78 players participated in the tournament, which was organized by the Kohima Chakhesang Veteran Badminton Committee in collaboration with the Phek District Badminton Association and the Department of Social Welfare, Nagaland.
Earlier, Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) president Vezuhu Keyho declared the tournament open.
The introductory note was delivered by Vechiso, Treasurer of the Kohima Chakhesang Veteran Badminton Committee, while Rev. Dr. Kevekhalo Lasuh, Senior Pastor of Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima, invoked God’s blessings. The prize distribution ceremony was led by Kelhikha Kenye.
