Chetheba, 23 December (MTNews): The Chetheba Town Students’ Union (CTSU), Phek celebrated its 35th General Session today at the Chetheba Town Hall under the theme “Redefining Success: Growth Beyond Grades.”
Vahine Thisa, Principal Director of Treasuries & Accounts, highlighted the importance of discipline, planning, and time management in achieving success. She urged students to make studying a daily habit and to rely on God as their foundation. “Give God the priority, and He will guide your path,” she said.
She emphasized the value of self-confidence, determination, and the effective use of technology to achieve goals. Stressing the significance of hard work, she added, “There is no substitute for effort. Accept failures and learn from them, as God has a plan for you.”
Sekhozo Rhakho, CTSU president, acknowledged the contributions of CTSU’s pioneers in his address. Rhakho encouraged students to uphold their cultural values and traditions while striving for personal and collective progress. He emphasized the importance of dreaming big and nurturing overall development beyond academics.
Vedechiyi Rokha, a Horticulture Inspector, shared his journey of clearing the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) exams. He credited his success to God’s grace, mentorship, and consistent hard work. “Mentorship plays a key role in success. Seek guidance from seniors and professionals,” he advised, urging students to remain steadfast and confident in their endeavors.
