Mokokchung, July 3 (MTNews): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has condoled the tragic death of 4 Bihari laborers living in Kodha block of Katihar district in a road accident in Chumoukedima on Saturday.
The Chief Minister took to twitter to announce an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2 lakh each to the families of the four deceased laborers of Bihar from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
“The local commissioner of Bihar in Delhi has been directed to make arrangements for transporting the bodies of the dead laborers to their native villages,” he said.
It may be mentioned that 5 persons died after the taxi they were travelling in was hit by a truck near Kukidolong area of ChumoukedimaAMP on Saturday, of which four of the dead were from Bihar.
