The Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) extends its heartfelt congratulations to Niketu Iralu,affectionately known to generations of Nagas as Uncle Niketu, on being conferred the International Lifetime Achiever Award in recognition of his lifelong commitment to peace and reconciliation across the world, and most especially among the Nagas.
A household name and moral voice for our people, Uncle Niketu has devoted over 65 years of his life to the global movement of Moral Re-Armament, now known as Initiatives of Change. Through this platform and beyond, he has remained a steadfast keeper of conscience, championing peace, justice, and human dignity with humility.
Today, we celebrate not only the honour bestowed upon him, but the enduring legacy of a life lived in service to humanity. His presence in the Forum for Naga Reconciliation has been more than symbolic; he has been a guiding force, offering clarity, courage, and vision in our Journey of Common Hope toward healing and unity.
We give thanks for his life, his witness, and his wisdom. May his days continue to be filled with strength, peace, and the quiet joy of knowing that his life has been a blessing to many.
