Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, has announced restrictions on the movement of all vehicles with ten wheels or more along National Highway-702D from Mokokchung to Mariani. The order comes in view of incessant rainfall during the ongoing monsoon season and the deteriorating condition of the highway.
The restriction will remain in effect until further notice. Authorities have urged all concerned to comply strictly with the directive to ensure road safety and prevent further damage to the highway.
