DC Wokha orders vehicular movement restriction; Tsungiki-Doyang Bridge stretch to remain suspended from 7 PM to 7 AM

Wokha, July 6 (MTNews): In order to allow uninterrupted road repair and maintenance work at NH2 Wokha/Mokokchung road and other portion of Wokha-Chukitong 2 lane road, deputy commissioner of Wokha has in an order informed that all forms of vehicular movement from Tsungiki 2nd Baazar to Doyang Bridge shall remain suspended from 10th to 16th July 2022 between 7 PM to 7 AM.

 

Seen here is vehicular movement halted between Tsungiki and Doyang Bridge due to a landslide on July 6. Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, has ordered vehicular movement restriction along the said route to allow uninterrupted road repair and maintenance work. (MTNews)

For the above restricted period, medium and light vehicles travelling or plying towards Wokha/Kohima from Mokokchung side are advised to take the diversion road from Alichen-Mangmetong-Sungro-Doyang-Wokha route and those plying toward VK/Mokokchung from Kohima/Dimapur are advised to take the diversion road from Zero Point-Wokha-Doyang-Sungro-Mangmetong-Alichen route.
