Dimapur, 18 April (MTNews): The Dimapur District Congress Committee along with the party workers held a silent, peaceful protest today as part of Jai Bharat Satyagraha.
According to a press release from the Chairman of Communications Department, NPCC, the protestors staged a rally from the DC Court junction till the DC office.
The rally, according to the release, was organized as part of Jai Bharat Satyagraha in solidarity with Rahul Gandhi in support of his ‘fearless and uncompromising fight against the loot of public and national wealth by Modi-Adani nexus’.
It was further informed that the protest rally will be held throughout the state by the District Congress Committees starting from Tuesday and will end in Kohima on 28 April.
