Kohima, 16 August (MTNews): The Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts has amended the Life Certificate for Pensioners issued by Gazetted Officers which will come into immediate effect. In a notification, the Directorate informed that the Certificate will now be collected only as per the new format.
Treasuries and Banks will henceforth accept information of the pensioners only as per the prescribed format. It said the banks may collect additional information separately, if required by the banks.
The Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts further informed that amendment of the format is not permitted and submission of Life Certificate in any other format will henceforth be considered null and void.
