In commemoration of National Sports Day 2025, the Directorate of Youth Resources & Sports has announced that the cash award programme for meritorious sportspersons for the year 2024–25 will be held on August 29, 2025, at IG Stadium, Kohima, starting at 10:00 a.m.
The awards will be presented to athletes who have won medals in recognized disciplines/tournaments affiliated with NOA at the international, national, and North East levels. Selected medal winners are requested to contact their respective State Sports Associations to verify their eligibility.

Registration will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
