Mokokchung, 28 March (MTNews): Poshan Pakhwada, a fortnightly program of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Mokokchung is celebrated annually in the month of March. As part of the celebration, the District Healthy Baby Show was held on 28 March at Ongpangkong South, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Project Office, Mokokchung.
The babies in the baby show were judged in the criteria of growth monitoring, immunization, health status and hygiene. The judges for the baby show were Mangliyangba, District Welfare Officer, Dr Moamongla, Medical Officer, PHC Ungma and Amenla, staff nurse, PHC, Sabangya.
Sungtilong, Lichet Imchen and Imtiben Jamir were selected as winners of the baby show. All the winners received a cash prize while gift hampers were distributed to all the participants including the winners.
