The one-day event was held at the Multi-Purpose Sports Hall Mokokchung with Sentitula IFS, DFO Mokokchung gracing the opening ceremony as the chief guest and Satemmongla Yaden, Chief Manager, SBI Mokokchung gracing the closing ceremony as the guest of honour.

Sentitula IFS, DFO Mokokchung speaking at the opening ceremony lauded the Nagaland Judo Association for conducting the event stating that it gave an opportunity for the young participants to be empowered and aspire for success, further adding that Judo as a career option is viable in today’s instance if one aspires and explore her talents.

During her speech at the closing ceremony, Satemmongla Yaden asserted that everyone is gifted and has their own ability and that success will come to those who put their full effort into their work and are persistent. She continued by saying that if one works diligently to achieve their goals and represent the state or country at the international levels, they too can have infinite potential in the international arena. She also urged the participants by saying that while participation was crucial, not everyone would advance to the final round because winning and losing are inherent parts of every competition.

In his welcome address at the opening ceremony, I Temsu Jamir, President of the Nagaland Judo Association, noted that Judo is the state’s “youngest sport” and that the competition is historic because it is the first-ever women-only tournament. He also predicted that it would mark the beginning of the sport’s production of heroes.

Awesome blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or
go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that
I’m totally confused .. Any recommendations? Cheers!
