The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) will hold the G Rio Memorial Volleyball Trophy (12th Kohima Open Tournament for Men and Women) from November 17 to 20 at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground).
Zhaleo Rio, MLA and Advisor, Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Government of Nagaland, will grace the inaugural function as the special guest on November 17 at 12:00 noon.
The champion in the men’s category will receive a cash prize of Rs 1.50 lakh, while the runner-up will get Rs 80,000. Semi-finalists will be awarded Rs 25,000 each.
In the women’s category, the champion will receive Rs 80,000, and the runner-up will be awarded Rs 50,000. Semi-finalists will get Rs 15,000 each.
There will also be individual prizes for the Best Spiker and Best Setter in both the men’s and women’s categories, carrying Rs 5,000 each.
