Kisama, December 2 (MTNews): The Naga Chef competition- season 9 that started today at Hornbill Festival, Kisama is set to have Australian Master Chef judge, author and restauranteur, Chef Gary Mehigan as the guest judge along with Chef Joel Basumatari, Rovi Chase, and Alemjungla Jamir .
The competition this year has a total number of 7 (seven) participants and according to reports, the participants will be judged according to the following rounds: cooking skills, childhood memories, innovation round, just desserts, and my Naga Thali which will be followed by the Grand Finale scheduled on December 9.
The winner of the competition will receive Rs. 2 lakh with gift hampers while only gift hampers shall be given to the round winners.
Apart from the competition, it was reported that there will be a cooking master class for all the participants.
The event is being managed by Synergy Group Enterprise and sponsored by the Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland.
