Mokokchung will have a lone participant in the upcoming  Bodybuilding and Physique Competition ‘Rethink-Rebuild-Reveal’, which will be held in Kohima on December 9 as part of the Hornbill Festival 2022. Tiameren, 32, will compete in two divisions: Men’s Physique and Bodybuilding.

Tiameren

According to Meren, he began working out in 2015 at a gym near the Public Ground in Mokokchung, but had no intention of competing at the time.

“When I first started out, I wasn’t very consistent with my workouts. I started working out because I had some high blood pressure and wanted to take care of my health,” he explained.

He then enrolled in Lean Wolf Gym in 2018, just a month after its establishment. He is currently a trainee at Lean Wolf Gym, which is managed and trained by Alemchiba.

Meren, on the other hand, stated that it was only this year that he decided to give himself a chance to compete in the physique competition.

“I chose to participate on my own. Earlier this year, I was planning to participate with some of my friends here in Mokokchung, but they backed out, so I am the lone participant,” he explained, confirming that he will compete in two categories: Men’s Physique and Bodybuilding.

Meanwhile, Lean Wolf Gym claims on their Facebook page that this is the first time someone from Mokokchung will compete in such a competition.

“Mokokchung has long been lacking behind in the fitness world and this is the first time that we will be into such competition. Let’s encourage and motivate him and support in every way we can,” the official page said, taking pride in his participation.
