Ungma, December 20 (MTNews): The final match of the 6th edition of the Albatross 7-men Soccer Tournament was played between Hunting Boots and Red Devils at Senayangba Government Higher Second Ground, Ungma today. Hunting Boots won the match 4-1 to lift the trophy of the tournament that was participated by 18 teams from across Mokokchung district.
The champions walked away with a cash prize of Rs 40000/- along with the trophy, certificates and medals while the runners-up received Rs 20000/- plus medals and certificates.
As for the individual prize winners, the Highest Scorer award went to Osen of Hunting Boots, Best Goal Keeper was awarded to Ayim of Red Devils and Player of the Tournament was awarded to Meyasenba of Hunting Boots.
Mapujungla Pongen, Advocate was the match patron in the final match while the tournament was kicked off by N Bendang Jamir, President NDPP Mokokchung Division as the Chief Patron on December 19. The tournament was organized by Albatross Football Club.
