A delegation from the Indian Air Force led by Wing Commander S. Shanmugam, Commanding Officer, 11 Airmen Selection Centre, Guwahati visited Fazl Ali College on Monday, April 18. An update from the Information and Publicity Cell of the college stated that Wing Commander S. Shanmugam interacted with the students on various career opportunities and benefits in the Indian Air Force. Some of the topics he discussed included: different types of entry points into the IAF; different branches of IAF; monetary benefits for both officers and airmen; and career progression in the IAF.
It was an interactive session where the students actively participated by asking various questions relevant to the topics. Earlier, the program started with a welcome note by the Vice Principal of the college.
