Impur Christian Hospital (ICH) organised a palliative care outreach programme at Nukshiyim Baptist Church on 18 April, extending compassionate medical support to patients in need. The initiative reached 35 palliative patients and provided free treatment and essential medicines.

The six-member palliative care team was led by Dr. Aka Longchar, Medical Superintendent of ICH, and coordinated by Narola Walling, Chaplain of ICH. Their efforts ensured holistic care and comfort for patients facing serious health challenges.

A seminar on palliative care was also conducted for the Women’s Ministry of Nukshiyim Baptist Church. The session focused on understanding and practising palliative care, while guiding participants on offering compassionate support. Imtinaro, Principal of ANM School of Nursing, ICH, served as the resource speaker.
