Jaong Company, a delivery and business assistance company was started with a focus to provide quick delivery at your doorstep across India in December 2020. The company is owned by Limanungsang of Mongsenyimti village, who, while working in Delhi, saw how business impacts and improves lives of many people for generations while in Nagaland, youths still rushed for jobs.
Understanding how businesses and start ups struggle in Nagaland, Lima returned back home with a mission to aid in helping start ups and business owners to expand their businesses across the country which in turn would bring about an entrepreneurial culture in Nagaland.
To learn more about his journey and the progress of his company, here’s an exclusive chit-chat with Limanungsang.

MTNews: Thank you for the time, Lima. How would you rate the performance of Jaong Company so far?
Lima: How shall I rate it…Young people are opening up a lot of startups these days and many of them are approaching us for assistance. So, I should say, “We have come a long way, still a long way to go.”

MTNews: Has the locals been responsive like you had imagined in terms of linking their products with your business? In one of your interviews, you said you promote products by making videos and documentaries. What are the promotional charges you take for a single promotion?
Lima: Our services is not just for business owners but also for any individual who needs delivery assistance. We have many customers who either live outside or their wards live in metro cities, and they need their packages like food, books, clothes, and other items delivered. Therefore, we pick them up from their home and deliver them at their doorsteps. Meanwhile, many business owners are linking with us and their business is expanding across India.

Lima: Yes, I studied in Edith Douglas from grade 3 to 12, then graduated from Patkai Christian College, Dimapur and finished my postgraduate from Madras Christian College Chennai. Then I learned and worked in Delhi for more than 7 years. Thank you so much MTNews for this opportunity.
