Model Christian College celebrated International Women’s Day at its auditorium with students and faculty members in attendance.
The guest speaker, Meneno V., Gender Specialist, State Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti, Social Welfare Department, Government of Nagaland, addressed the audience on the theme of women empowerment and the need to create opportunities for women in all spheres of life. She also mentioned the services made available for women and children, and stressed the need to create a safer community for the collective whole.
The programme included a special song by Nounengunuo Kratsutsu (BA 4th Sem). The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Neichuzonuo Rupreo, Asst Professor, making the celebration both meaningful and inspiring.
