The Kandi Public Union (KPU) has extended its heartiest congratulations to Kitenlo K Thono, son of Khitilo Thono of Ehunnu Village of Kandi Range, on winning the gold medal in Pencak Silat at the National Games in Goa. Kitenlo Thono is the first Rengma Naga to win a gold medal at the National Games.
The KPU has also congratulated all the medal winners from Nagaland, who have brought glory to the state.
The KPU has also saluted the Pencak Silat Association of Nagaland and the Nagaland Olympic Association, under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Secretary General Abu Metha, for leading the team to the National Games. The KPU also wished the winners a bright future. (MTNews)
