Modelite Fest 2025 was held on November 1 at the MHSS Campus, bringing together the Model Christian College (MCC) and Model Higher Secondary School (MHSS) communities in the spirit of ”Concordia Crescimus” – Together We Grow.
The event began with Senjanbeni Ngullie serving as the host for the first session. Wewa-ü Mero, MCCEU Advisor, delivered the invocation, followed by a welcome address from Shilumoa Longkumer, Convener of Modelite Fest, setting a tone of unity, gratitude, and growth for both institutions.
A soulful musical solo by Hishale (MHSS) marked the beginning of the performances, enchanting the audience with heartfelt melody. This was followed by an inspiring address from guest speaker Munguli Sangtam, Creative Director, who spoke on the importance of spiritual growth and valuing strong family bonds. His words, imbued with empathy and purpose, urged students and faculty to nurture deeper relationships at home and in their communities—to grow not only academically or professionally, but as complete individuals. The inauguration of stalls followed, marking the official commencement of the day’s celebrations.
The crowd was also treated to powerful performances by “The Gears”, the MHSS band, and “The Dream Notes” from Model Christian College.
The second session was anchored by Razouvi Paul and Tajungren Imsong, showcased a vibrant line-up of artists and performances. Asenati Jamir (MHSS) rendered a soulful solo, followed by live performances by three well-known artists – Lenen Jamir, Lam Grace, and Kivika Achumi – each bringing their unique artistry to the stage and captivating the gathering with their music and presence. The Varianz energized the crowd with a dynamic dance performance, while Nounengunuo (MCC) and Nitolimi (MCC) added more musical and dance highlights to the Fest.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Kupuli V, Co-convener of Modelite Fest, and a closing prayer by Standhope, Chaplain of MHSS.
The event was marked by excellent coordination, enthusiastic participation, and a genuine spirit of togetherness – truly fulfilling its mission of celebrating collaboration between two vibrant institutions.
