The Kohima Press Club (KPC) has announced the selection of three journalists for the 4th Edition of the KPC–Nagaland Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (NBOCWWB) Media Fellowship for Journalists 2025.
The selected fellows are: Chizokho Vero of The Morung Express (Kohima); Shongmo B of Nagaland Tribune (Noklak); and Yarden Jamir of The Morung Express (Mokokchung).
As part of the fellowship, each recipient will receive a grant of Rs 50,000 to produce a series of in-depth stories highlighting the experiences and challenges faced by the construction industry in Nagaland. The stories will be researched, written, and published between September 5 and November 15, 2025.
To initiate the programme, KPC in collaboration with NBOCWWB will organise an orientation workshop for the selected fellows on September 1 at the Kohima Press Club office, APO Building, Phoolbari, Kohima.
KPC informed that besides the fellows, all members of the club are also requested to attend the workshop.
