Mokokchung, August 18 (MTNews): Naga entrepreneur and president of Business Association of Nagas (BAN), L Mongkum Jamir has been appointed as member of the High-Powered Monitoring Committee (HPMC) of the National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH) scheme under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India.
This was informed by BAN general secretary Dr. Yan Murry in a statement on Thursday.
Saying that it is a matter of great honour for the Business Association of Nagas (BAN), Murry thanked the Minister, MSME for giving the opportunity to their president. “We are positive that this appointment will benefit the SC/ST entrepreneurs especially from the North East region,” BAN general secretary added.
National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH) is aimed at capacity enhancement of SC/ST entrepreneurs and promoting “entrepreneurship culture” among the SC/ST population.
