A Mega Identification and Assessment cum Certification Camp for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) was held at IMDH, Mokokchung on 14 August 2025.
Organised to mark the fifth anniversary of the National Education Policy 2020 under Achil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS), the event was jointly conducted by Samagra Shiksha Mokokchung, Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram and District Hospital Mokokchung.
A total of 160 CWSN from six Educational Block Resource Centres registered for the camp. Seven doctors and nine members from the District Hospital and RBSK screened children for hearing and visual impairments, locomotor disability, and various intellectual and developmental disabilities.
