The 6th Graduation Ceremony of MGM College, Dimapur, held on Friday, 8th August 2025, at the college auditorium, stood as a proud testament to the dedication, resilience, and relentless pursuit of knowledge that defined the graduating class.The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Prof. Dipak Sinha, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Medziphema Campus, Nagaland University, as the Special Guest; Prof. Tankeswar Gohain, School of Agricultural Sciences, Medziphema Campus, Nagaland University; and members of the Governing Body.


The ceremony commenced with the academic procession, followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, Principal, Administrator, and Dean of Students. Dr. R. K. Behera, Principal of the college, formally declared the graduation day open. In his address, he congratulated the graduands, emphasising that learning is a lifelong process and commending the hard work of faculty in moulding them into responsible citizens of the nation.Fr. Giju George, Administrator of the college, delivered the welcome address and extended warm felicitations to the esteemed guests.

In his inspiring keynote speech, Prof. Dipak Sinha congratulated the graduates and stressed that learning and hard work are the true keys to success, both in professional careers and in life, as there are no shortcuts to excellence. Urging the graduates to dream big and maintain a positive attitude, he reminded them that this milestone is only the beginning of greater achievements ahead.The programme featured a convocation hymn by the college choir, the felicitation and presentation of graduates, and a heartfelt speech on behalf of the graduates by Wahida Begum Tapader. A soulful musical performance by Nathenlemba added a celebratory note to the occasion.

The event concluded with a closing speech by Dr. Vili Kibami, IQAC Coordinator of the college. In total, 41 graduates from both the Arts and Commerce streams proudly received their degrees, stepping into a new chapter of life with confidence and hope.
