The Women’s Cell of MGM College celebrated International Women’s Day on 7 March under the theme “Give to Gain,” highlighting the importance of character, faith and resilience in shaping the lives of young women. The programme was chaired by Talinaro, Office Assistant, and began with a melodious song by the Swu sisters, setting a reflective and celebratory tone for the gathering.

Delivering the keynote address on “A Virtuous Woman,” Temjenzungla Aier, Assistant Professor in the Department of History, reflected on the identity and value of women. She said a virtuous young woman understands that her worth comes not from outward appearance or social approval, but from her relationship with God and the way she lives her life. She added that such a woman is trustworthy and reliable, showing integrity in both words and actions.
