The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) has informed that, in view of the damage caused due to fire outbreak at the MMC Shopping Complex on 3 February, and taking into account the safety of the shopkeepers and customers, the RG Block, footwear, and 1st floor shops numbered 17 to 42 in the complex will remain closed until a technical assessment of the building’s structural safety is conducted.
Further notice will be issued thereupon, it was informed. “This is for strict compliance by all concerned,” MMC emphasized.
