Mokokchung, 22 April (MTNews): The Alempang Fitness Center, a vital component of the Iconic Project under 24 Angetyongpang A/C, was inaugurated on Monday by Lemasashi Ozukum, chairman of Alempang Ward, Mokokchung.
The Iconic Project initiative, spearheaded by Tongpang Ozukum, Advisor, Department of Water Resources, Government of Nagaland, and MLA of the 24 Angetyongpang Assembly Constituency, aim to enhance the well-being of the people and promote active lifestyles.
Designed for the residents of Alempang Ward, ownership of the fitness centre was handed over to the Alempang Youth Association to ensure efficient management and proper utilization of the facility.
As part of the inauguration program, the President of the NDPP, Alempang Unit, 24 Angetyongpang A/C, Neken Mollier, presented the keys of the Alempang Fitness Centre to the President of the Alempang Youth Association. This symbolic gesture underscores the collaborative effort between the government, political organizations, and local community groups in realizing this significant endeavor.
