Mokokchung Athletics has announced that it will organize the Junior Athletics Meet 2025 on August 30 at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex.
The meet is open to participants in three age categories: Under-14, Under-16, and Under-18 (boys and girls). Winners from this event will represent Mokokchung at the 2nd Nagaland Junior Athletics Meet 2025, scheduled for September 10 at IG Stadium, Kohima. Successful athletes will then advance to the East Zone Competition in Odisha on September 18.
Registration is open until 7:00 PM on August 29, with a fee of ¹ 100 per athlete. Only online registration will be accepted, and Aadhaar card is mandatory as proof of age.
Events include sprints (60m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 600m, 1000m), long jump, high jump, shotput, and triathlon formats for U-14 athletes. U-16 and U-18 participants may compete in up to two events.
