Nagaland University, Lumami, will organize the Football (Men’s) Northeast Zone Inter-University Tournament for the 2024-25 session, from November 11 to November 15, 2024.
The tournament, held under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, will take place simultaneously at Local Ground, Mokokchung, and Dr. T. Ao Sports Complex, Nagaland University, Lumami.
A total of 19 university teams from eight northeastern states will participate in the tournament.
The participating universities are:

4. Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Assam
5. Guwahati University, Guwahati.
6. ICFAI Meghalay.
7. ICFAI, Tripura.
8. Manipur University, Manipur.
9. Mizoram University, Aizawl, Mizoram.
10. Nagaland University, Nagaland.
11. National Sports University, Manipur.
12. North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU)
Shillong, Meghalaya.
13. Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh.
14. Royal Global University, Assam.
15. Sikkim Manipal University, Sikkim.
16. St. Joseph University, Nagaland.
17. Tezpur University, Tezpur, Assam.
18. Tripura University, Tripura.
19. USTM, Meghalaya.
The four pool-winning teams will qualify for the Inter-Zonal Tournament at GNA University, Punjab, and the Khelo India University Games 2024.
