NDPP Congratulates NDA on ‘9 Glorious Years of Governance’

Mokokchung, 21 July (MTNews): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has congratulated the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government on successfully completing “nine glorious years of governing the nation.”

 

In a press release, the NDPP said that the NDA under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken India into the global forum in a big way. The party also expressed pride in being an alliance partner of the NDA at a time when the alliance completed 25 years of existence.

The NDPP said that it is confident that the NDA will once again sweep the polls with an absolute majority in the 2024 general elections. The party also thanked the people of Nagaland for their continued support over the last five and a half years of the PDA government in the state.

 

NDPP hails CM Rio’s contribution to NDA

The NDPP has also hailed the contribution of Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio to the NDA. “During the recently held meeting of the NDA partners at Delhi, the NDPP is humbled at the honor and respect accorded to our chief minister, Mr Neiphiu Rio,” it said. The party added that Rio’s contribution has helped to strengthen the alliance and that he is now a national figure.

 

The NDPP said that it is praying that Rio will continue to contribute to the growth of the NDA and take Nagaland to greater heights.

 

NDPP appeals for continued support

The NDPP has appealed to the people of Nagaland to continue their support for the party and the PDA government. “As the nation’s general elections looms before us, it is our fervent appeal to all citizens to continue with their support of the NDPP and the PDA government,” it implored.
