The 4th NECDC Inter State Friendship Cup for Men’s U 19 will be held in Nagaland from April 6 to 11, with six teams from across the Northeast set to participate in the tournament. The event is being organized by the North East Cricket Development Council (NECDC) and hosted by the Nagaland Cricket Association.
Matches will be played at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium and Sovima Cricket Ground. The tournament will feature two groups. Group-A consists of Nagaland, Manipur and Meghalaya, while Group-B includes Sikkim, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.
Nagaland will begin their campaign on April 6 against Manipur at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium in Sovima.
Following the group stage, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals. The winners of the semifinals will advance to the final, which is scheduled to be played on April 11.
The tournament is expected to provide a platform for young cricketers from the region to showcase their talent and gain competitive exposure.
