Mokokchung, October 3 (MTNews): The Nagaland Foothill Road Co-ordination Committee (NFHRCC) has urged upon the foothill road construction contractors to ensure that the allocated works are completed at the earliest, without compromising on the quality of works, as the dry seasons have already set in.
Stating this in a press release, NFHRCC also appealed to the respective village councils to extend cooperation to the contractors and the department’s officials till completion of the construction works.
The committee also acknowledged the chief minister, advisor (R&B) and the PWD (R&B) for releasing the running bills for smooth functioning of the on-going motorable foothills road construction
Further, it appreciated the Young Naga Action Committee on Foothills road for showing maturity and tolerance on the issue of the ultimatum served to the department concerned on matters pertaining to the release of the performance-based running bills to the respective contractors.
