Kohima, 24 July (MTNews): The president of the Naga People’s Front (NPF), Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu, on his behalf and the party rank and file has mourned the sudden demise of Megoneilhu Viyie, the General Secretary of the NPF Kohima Division. Viyie died on 24 July in his native village, Khonoma.
“He was a staunch active NPF leader; the party will always remember his tirelessly work and contribution for the upliftment of the party and for the people in general. The vacuum created by his demise will be difficult to be filled up,” the president stated.
The NPF party conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for solace and comfort to the loved ones of the departed soul.
