The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN), Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP), has announced restrictions on the movement of commodities, including petroleum products and their derivatives, towards Myanmar with immediate effect.

In a general information note issued on June 17, 2026, the organisation said the decision was taken in pursuance of Order No. 06/GPRN/NA/ORD-40/YO/26 dated June 15, 2026, titled “Strict Monitoring Along Indo-Myanmar Border.”

It stated that the order empowers and authorises the Naga Army to maintain round-the-clock surveillance along the entire Indo-Myanmar border until further instructions.
