The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has adopted a resolution calling for the “re-strengthening [of] Naga unity and collective identity,” during its 2nd Federal Assembly held at Jongpha Village in Western Rengma area of Karbi Anglong on May 28, hosted by the Rengma Students’ Union (RSU).
In view of the “evolving challenges confronting the Naga people,” the NSF stated that despite the “artificial boundaries and geographical divisions imposed upon the Nagas,” unity remains the urgent need of the hour under the enduring spirit of “One Voice, One Naga.”
The NSF called on all sections of Naga society to rise above differences and work collectively towards strengthening “solidarity, cooperation, and mutual understanding for the collective welfare, security, and future of the Naga people.”
The NSF reaffirmed its commitment to preserving Naga unity and advancing the shared vision and aspirations of the Naga people in one voice and one spirit.
The NSF also extended solidarity to Nagas affected by the ongoing conflict in Southern Nagalim. It strongly condemned attacks on civilians, stating, “Any attack on one Naga is an attack on all Nagas.” The Federation alleged that Naga civilians have been targeted by Kuki militants and their cohorts.
Further, the Federation appealed to all Naga citizens to uphold prayers for the well-being, safety, peace, and unity of the Naga people wherever they may be.
