Peren, September 11 (MTNews): In commemoration of 75 years of Peren District, the pre-launch of the Peren District Football League was held at Indoor Stadium, Peren Town on 10th September 2022 with Executive Engineer, Er. Tsiamchi Ndang as the special guest.
Ndang unveiled the League’s Logo and the Champions trophy while the PDFL 2022 season tickets were released by EAC Peren, Seyievilie Pfukri, and Er. Asembe Mbung, SDO, PWD (R&B), and others. The official ball of the league was unveiled by Executive Engineer, PHED, Er. Ichirang.
The eight clubs participating in the first season of the PDFL are Barak Football Academy, Native Feathers FC, Benreu FC, Northern Zeme Sports Association, Nsong Area Sports Association, Prime FC, Puiteing FC, and Lekie Mtei FC. The league will kick off on 4th October 2022 at Jalukie B Village Ground.
