Mokokchung, 6 June (MTNews): In an effort to generate and promote public awareness of cleanliness and hygiene, a Swachhta Pakhwada was organized from 16 to 31 May 2023. The event commenced with the taking of the Swachhta Pledge by the Deputy General Manager (in-charge) and all the employees at POWERGRID’s Mokokchung GIS Substation.
Throughout the Pakhwada, various initiatives were undertaken to achieve this goal. All the employees of POWERGRID actively participated in cleaning drives in their office and nearby locality, distribution of cotton bags to small time vendors. Several activities like essay writing, poem, painting competition were organized in Assam Rifles High School, Mokokchung Nagaland.
