Family Welfare retires
Kohima, February 1 (MTNews): The Department of Health & Family Welfare bid farewell to Principal Director, Dr Temjentsungla, and Joint Director, Dr Obangjungla today at the DHFW Lobby.
Y Kikheto Sema (IAS), Commissioner & Secretary, HF&W congratulated both the outgoing officers for a happy retirement life and reminded them that it is rather a day of celebration and not mourning to celebrate the duties and service rendered throughout the 34 years of experience.
He expressed that outgoing Principal Director Dr Temjentsungla was an outstanding officer who was sincere, straightforward, and “a woman of action” who had served in 13 different establishments and contributed a lot to the department and that it has been a great pleasure to work with her in the short period of her time as PD.
During the program, he also initiated to hand over the official order of incoming Principal Director Dr Vibeituonuo Mepfuo which was handed over by the outgoing Principal Director.
Dr Temjentsungla in her speech expressed gratitude to all her subordinate officers and staff for their support in her tenure as Principal Director. She also expressed that it has been a fulfilling duty to repair the connecting road which was overdue and had not been implemented for a long time.
