Mokokchung, 26 April (MTNews): Fazl Ali College hosted its Parting Social for the graduating class of 2024 on April 26, 2024. The event’s theme, “Beyond Goodbyes: Celebrating Endings, Embracing Beginnings,” set the tone for a day of reflection and anticipation.
Dr I Wati Imchen, Principal of Fazl Ali College, delivered the farewell address on behalf of the faculty, offering words of encouragement as the students transition into adulthood and expressing for the accolades they brought to the college. He urged the students to remember the lessons learned in college and encouraged them to build a life beyond their professions and careers.
Asensor, General Secretary of FACSU, conveyed a heartfelt message on behalf of the students, thanking the seniors for the memories and wisdom shared by their seniors. Farewell speeches were also given by Talisenep from 6th Semester, Bachelor of Arts and Aosen Amer from 6th Semester, Bachelor of Science representing the outgoing class from the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs, respectively.
The evening featured musical performances by Opangalanger and Limasenla, both members of the graduating class, as well as a song presentation by Limasenla, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics. Rev. Lima Lemdur, Pastor of Union Church, led a special prayer for the outgoing students, invoking blessings for their future endeavors.
