The Ao community has been informed of a protest rally scheduled to take place on May 29, 2025, in Mokokchung town.
The rally, according to a press statement issued by the Ao Senden, will commence from the Main Police Point Mokokchung at 10:00 AM and will culminate at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner after the submission of a representation “to the Govt. of Nagaland through Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung.”
Calling for widespread participation, the statement urged that “all citizens are requested to attend the Protest Rally positively.”
The notice was jointly issued by Marsanen Imsong, President, and Imtipokyim, General Secretary.
