Members of the Tzurangkong Students’ Conference (TKM), along with the Junior Engineer from the Border Roads Organization (BRO), visited the ongoing construction site along NH 702D on Thursday, 7 November. The inspection covered the stretch from Aokum village to Chungtiayimsen (10-kilometer to 20-kilometer) stretch of road.
The project, which is currently under construction, is being handled by the contractor, Ganpati Bharat Pvt Ltd. The TKM representatives met with the Junior Engineer of the contractor on-site to review the progress of the work.
During the inspection, TKM officials stressed the importance of maintaining high standards and quality throughout the construction process. They urged the contractor’s team not to compromise on the quality of the road and assured that TKM would maintain strict supervision over the project to ensure the integrity of the work.
Although the construction is still incomplete, the team expressed satisfaction with the progress made thus far.
