Hungry Ghost Restaurant, located at the top floor of Kichutzar Complex.
Owned and managed by 32-year old Ekon Naga along with the assistance of Chubasoba, Hungry Ghost Restaurant, began its initial journey in July 2021 as a café and later became popular for its strong, tangy and aromatic Mocktails that comes with a personalized touch in its names and taste.
Ekon, who acquired his management, hospitality and aviation training in Shillong, named his Mocktails as Doyang Blue and Doyang Green as a tribute to his father and Marla Mocktail on behalf of his mother.
Speaking about the taste of his mocktails, his Ayatai mocktail, inspired by the tragic event of ‘Ayatai’ comes with a sweet, bitter and sour flavor of berries influenced with ginger and lemon.
Hungry Ghost, apart from the mocktails, also provides a barbeque corner in its ‘Garden Isle’ and a cozy, exquisite ‘Royal lounge’ for exclusive events and bookings.

Urban Hub Café, located above Pet Care Clinic, Old Town Hall Road
With an objective to provide coffee along with a cozy environment for book readers, Urban Hub Café was conceived under Mr. Saro and his wife, Mrs. Aben, in November 2019. The café is popular for its use of various coffee beans and a ‘bookepedia’ section which was set up in collaboration with Sentilong Ozüküm, where the books are also donated by the customers.
The couple decided to open the café in Mokokchung as they wanted to provide opportunities to people residing in Mokokchung. Speaking about their future plans, they hope to enrich their menu with soup, burgers and even host dinners as per the customers’ choice.

The Restaurant, located near Subong Shopping Mall and above Popular Bakery, Arkong ward
The twenty-year old ‘The Restaurant’ is run by Edenba Kichu and has successfully stood through every high and low for twenty long years. This restaurant continues to scale up its success owing to its affordable pricing, equal treatment to customers of all backgrounds and its ability to adapt with the customers’ demands.
‘The Restaurant’ is famous for its Chinese, Indian, South-East and Tibetan recipes. ‘The Restaurant’ also offers private event bookings and home delivery services.
